Morning Prayer for April 25th

Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Kay Curran, of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Team.

Reflecting on today’s Gospel reading, we see Mark telling us how Jesus spoke to the apostles before he assumed into heaven. Jesus is telling them to go out and spread the news of His death and resurrection to the whole world. This could not have been easy, particularly if people did not believe in Jesus or in the resurrection. But the apostles did go out and did what they were asked. One wonders how would they handle it in today’s world?
