Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for February 21st With Fr Martin Moran OMI
Good morning everyone! Today, as we approach the one-year anniversary of the conflict in Ukraine, we’re re-sharing Fr Martin’s morning prayer from this time last year.
The Gospel reading speaks of the father coming and praying that whatever little bit of faith they have, Jesus will work a miracle. Sometimes our faith can feel weak, but all we have to do is reach out.
We reflect on today’s reading from James; “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.” – James 3:13-18
We pray that we will have hearts that are pure, peaceable, gentle and full of mercy.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
