Morning Prayer for Wednesday January 5th 2022 With Mary O’Brien
Friends, join Mary O’Brien in Dublin for our morning prayer. Mary is a member of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage team.
When Jesus dismissed the crowd and went up on the mountain to pray…
After the hustle and bustle of Christmas days, it can feel like a good idea to find time to get away by yourself. To pause the busy-ness, to look around and to see the world for what it is and appreciate it. Jesus went up on the mountain to pray and through prayer reconnect with his Father in heaven through whom he draws all his strength.
Thank you for joining us this morning and for taking time out to pause and reflect and appreciate the gift of Jesus who was born in a stable.
Today is also the feast day of Saint Charles of Mount Argus, whose tomb is located in the Passionist Church at Mount Argus, Harold’s Cross, in Dublin, where Mary grew up.
St Charles, pray for us!
