Morning Prayer – Lourdes Novena – Day 8 February 9th

Good morning and today we once again go to Inchicore for prayer with Fr Martin Moran OMI who is the moderator of the Inchicore Pastoral Area. It is Day 8 of the Novena in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes and we invite you to continue to pray with us and also to send us your petitions to take to the Grotto in Lourdes.

All our lives are a pilgrimage and sometimes we get a little bit distracted. Sometimes we lose the way, but we’re always invited to come back to the path that God has marked out for us.

Our God as a God who is open to all as our Lord was open in today’s Gospel. My prayer for all of us is that we have that same ease of relationship with our Lord. St Teresa of Avila is another wonderful example of that being able to exchange words with our Lord, one friend talking to another.

Each day the Novena in Inchicore can be joined in person or online at 10am (mass) and 7pm (Service of prayer), with Mass of the Anointing of the sick at 12noon on Saturday February 11th and Torchlight procession at 7pm.
