Morning Prayer: Thursday 21st October With Mossie Lyons
Friends, we join Mossie Lyons, Director of Kairos Community Trust in London. On first look, today’s gospel reading might leave us feeling a bit unenthused, but in some ways is quite humbling, and on the other hand a reason for quiet gratitude. It reminds us that God loves families, good relationships, marriage, because God is love. Are there any difficult relationship in your life? Join us in bringing that relationship to prayer this morning.
Mossie also shares a short piece of one of his favourite quotes from scripture with us today.
“Act justly, love tenderly, and walk Humbly with your God.” – The Prophet Micah
Kairos Community Trust are dedicated to helping homeless men and women with drug and alcohol problems, through abstinence-support hostel, rehab programmes and a network of 29 supported Move-on houses, most of which are in south London.
Thanks for joining us today for the Oblate Family Morning Prayer.
