Morning Prayer: Thursday 30th September

With Mary in Dublin

Good morning. We join Mary in Dublin, who is part of the Oblate Lourdes pilgrimage team.

We thank God that we can continue to gather each morning to pray together, to welcome a new day, and to place in the loving hands of God all those whom we wish to remember in prayer.

‘”Peace to this house!” And if anyone is there who shares in peace, your peace will rest on that person; but if not, it will return to you.’ = Luke 10:1-12

‘Your peace will return to you’. There is a real comfort in this verse: that I can hope for a sense of blessing, even when my efforts have been rejected, or are unsuccessful.
