Morning prayer with the Oblate Family, April 27th With Sr Bernadette Purcell
Good morning, friends!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.”
Today’s gospel is a very well known one, which has powerful images of light and darkness. The first impulse is love. God inhabits the world with loving presence. There is real God-presence here. Sometimes we can miss this and focus on the darkness, so it is good to remember this is the place that God sent his only Son to save us through love.
Today, we join Sr Bernadette Purcell for our daily prayer. Bernadette is a member of the Presentation Sisters and is chaplain in TU Dublin (Technical University Dublin).
Thanks for joining us.
