Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family, December 15th

Friends we join Fr Liam once more for our Oblate Family morning prayer from Inchicore on Thursday December 15th, the third week of Advent.

Jesus says that John was more than a prophet and gives him the highest of praise, but he then makes him most and most amazing declaration that at least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist.

So as we approach this Christmas time, we are reminded that it is Jesus who focuses on the poor and whom He has chosen to surrender himself. So we pray to God our father, who from of old, has called all people to salvation. We pray, Lord, protect your people. You promise to plant the seeds of justice among your people.
