Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Sr Anne Petit in London for this morning’s time of prayer.

“He appointed twelve to be his companions”

Jesus did not choose people because of what they were. They were not perfect or particularly clever. They all came from different walks of life. They were nonprofessionals who had no wealth or position. They were chosen from the common people who did ordinary things.
