Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Monday 21st October 2024 With Kay Curran
Good morning friends. We invite you to join Kay Curran in her Dublin home for our prayer today, Monday 21st October, of the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Gospel | Luke 12:35-38 ©
Be dressed for action and have your lamps lit
Kay reflects: ‘”Master, Tell my brother to give me a share of our inheritance.” These words were put to Jesus while he was talking to a crowd, and Jesus answered him with a parable, or as we call it, a story about a rich man with lots of crops and nowhere to store is unless he builds a bigger barn. The answer God gave him was that he may not be here tomorrow to even enjoy his fill of crops, and I’m sure we’re all a little bit like that man.”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
