Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Monday June 13th With Margaret Hughes
Dear friends, we join Margaret Hughes, a member of the Oblate Parish Community of Darndale-Belcamp and principal of Darndale Junior School, for today’s morning prayer.
Today’s reading is the encounter of Jesus and the woman at the well. Jesus displays respect for the woman at the well, despite her history and being a Samaritan, demonstrating that we should be welcoming and respectful of all people too. Jesus also compares himself to the water in the well — but whilst the well’s water will never be enough, Jesus offers us “living water” which will never run out.
Thanks for joining us today.
