Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family – Monday May 30th With Catherine Mullin
Good morning all, we invite you to join Catherine Mullin for morning prayer in the community library and archives in the Oblate House of Retreat, Inchicore. Catherine has worked in her role as provincial archivist for the Anglo-Irish Province of the Oblates for a number of years.
Today we pray in a special way for all those who need guidance in their daily lives and actions, and the need for peace in our world. We take time to reflect and pray for all those suffering pain, anxiety and loss of family members, and especially those in war-torn Ukraine, and in the recent slaughter by gunfire of children and their teachers in San Antonio, Texas.
“Father of the orphan, defender of the widow, such is God in his holy place. God gives the lonely a home to live in; he leads the prisoners forth into freedom.” – Psalm 67
Thank you for joining us today.
