Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Monday November 25th 2024 With Robert Neal
Good morning friends. We invite you to join Robert Neal from the Inchicore-Bluebell Pastoral Area in Dublin for morning prayer on Monday of the 34th week of Ordinary Time.
Gospel | Luke 21:1-4 ©
The widow’s mite
Robert reflects: ‘I suppose in today’s world some people might say, why did the old lady bother? Two small pennies. Yet she went up and she put the two pennies in, all that she had. And I suppose thinking on the gospel, maybe that’s what we have to do. We go in to the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. We sit before the Lord Jesus, and we pray, Lord Jesus, renew us here at your sanctuary for you are the vine, we are the branches: feed me that I may grow. So all we do is bring ourselves. And come into the presence of the Lord and give him our time.’
Thank you for joining us this morning.
