Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Thursday August 11th

Good morning dear friends! We join Fr Vimal once again in Saint Joseph’s Parish, Colwyn Bay for morning prayer. Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Claire of Assisi.

How do we pray? How much time to give to prayer? How is the quality of our prayer life? Do we have a prayer life? 

Claire left everything and adapted to a new way of life to be happy with Jesus. Let us learn from Saint Claire; we need prayer in our life. 

A beautiful message from Saint Matthew’s gospel is given to us for our life. 

Peter went up to Jesus and said, ‘Lord, how often must I forgive my brother if he wrongs me? As often as seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘Not seven, I tell you, but seventy-seven times. – Matthew 18:21
