Morning Prayer with the Oblates: August 20th With Mossie Lyons
Dear friends, good morning and welcome to today’s morning prayer on Saturday August 20th. We invite you to join Mossie Lyons, Director of the Kairos Community Trust, for a few moments of prayer and reflection together.
Today’s reading comes from the Gospel according to Matthew and has a focus on humility. We are asked to humble ourselves, which isn’t easy for us. Is there anyone in your life who you consider humble?
What are the qualities that make someone humble? Mossie discusses some of the characteristics that could be used to describe humility, and some of the people who he would consider humble, including Mary.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
