Morning Prayer with the Oblates December 13th With Frankie MacDonald
Good morning friends, we join Frankie MacDonald, a member of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage team, in Scotland for today’s time of prayer and reflection together.
“Jesus said to the chief priests and elders of the people, ‘What is your opinion? A man had two sons. He went and said to the first, “My boy, you go and work in the vineyard today.” He answered, “I will not go,” but afterwards thought better of it and went. The man then went and said the same thing to the second who answered, “Certainly, sir,” but did not go. Which of the two did the father’s will?’” – Matthew 21:28-32
This Advent, and always, Jesus is asking us to follow him, follow his teaching, follow his lead, do what’s right. Let us hope that this Advent we use the time of preparation wisely and follow him and do what He asks us to do – even if we are slow on the uptake but we get there eventually!
