Morning Prayer with the Oblates, First Sunday of Lent With Fr Irvin Morastil OMI
We join Fr Irvin Morastil OMI, of the Oblate parish of St Mary’s Star of the Sea in Leith, Edinburgh for our morning prayer on the first Sunday of Lent, February 21st. The season of Lent allows us to deepen our relationship with God through the essential elements of Lenten observances – prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
‘The time has come’ he said ‘and the kingdom of God is close at hand. Repent, and believe the Good News.’ – Mark 1:15
