Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Holy Thursday, April 1st

We join Sr Bernadette Deegan of the Holy Family of Bordeaux community once again for our daily morning reflection. Today is Holy Thursday and the beginning of the Easter Triduum. 

Today we celebrate The Lord’s Supper and the institution of the Eucharist. We are mindful that it is also a special day for priests and ministers to thank God for their priestly ministry. They, with all the people of God continue the mission of Jesus in the Eucharist and serving all.

“If I, then, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you should wash each other’s feet. I have given you an example so that you may copy what I have done to you.” Matthew John 13:15
