Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Monday September 6th With Fr Dermot
On this Monday morning, we join Fr Dermot Mills OMI in the Oblate Parish of St Michael’s in Inchicore, Dublin.
Jesus continually gives his care and attention to those who the rest of the world might say don’t matter, the sick, the weak, the outcasts. They sought him out in their droves. Why? He spoke of things that touched their hearts, things that demanded a response from their hearts; forgiveness, love, respect, compassion. Each connected with human dignity. Let’s try do the same in whatever small way we can.
“And there was a man there and his right hand was withered. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up and stand in the middle. He got up and stood. And Jesus said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did, and his hand was restored.” – Mark 7:31-37
We thank you for praying with us today.
