Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Saturday May 29th, Feast of Bl. Joseph Gérard With Mary Tyrell
Morning Prayer May 29th:
This morning we join Mary Tyrell of the Oblate Partners in Mission Team on the final day of our novena for vocations to the Oblate way of life and also the feast of Blessed Jospeh Gérard OMI, known as ‘the apostle of Lesotho’, and who is inspiring in his example of love, faith and perseverance in his missionary life and sharing of the Good News with all the world.
Jesus said, “Go out to the whole world, and proclaim the Good News to all creation.” As we pray for an increase in vocations to priesthood and religious life, we acknowledge too, that by virtue of our baptism, we are asked to answer Jesus’ call to share the good news with those in our daily lives and in the world around us.
“We must love them in spite of everything. Love them always.” – Blessed Joseph Gérard OMI

Thank you for joining us in prayer over these past nine days.
