Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Sunday September 5th

On this Sunday morning, we join Fr Dermot Mills OMI in the Oblate Parish of St Michael’s in Inchicore, Dublin.

We must be ready for the workings of God in our every day lives, in ordinary everyday ways, because God is full of surprises. Pope Francis regularly says that “Our God is a god of surprises” – are we ready for them?

“Then looking up to heaven he sighed; and he said to him, ‘Ephphatha’, that is, ‘Be opened.’ And his ears were opened, and the ligament of his tongue was loosened and he spoke clearly.” – Mark 7:31-37
