We join Ros Appleby in Birkenhead, England, as we reflects on the psalm of today’s mass.

I will hear what the Lord God has to say,
  a voice that speaks of peace.
The Lord speaks peace to his people. – Psalm 84(85)

How is it that peace seems so elusive? It can sometimes seem out of our reach. In our anxiety to be peacemakers to pause long enough to hear what the Lord is asking us? Saint Oscar Romero encourages us to take a step back and to see God’s Plan in our lives.
