Dear friends, good morning and welcome to today’s morning prayer on Tuesday August 23rd. We invite you to join Martina Cooley, of the Kairos Community Trust, for a few moments of prayer and reflection together.

Today’s reading comes from the Gospel of Matthew. In reality, appearances aren’t everything, yet we are often attracted to something, or someone, based on how it looks. How often do we stop to think if someone is projecting how they really are, or if they’re wearing a mask to hide the real self? Are we ourselves wearing masks?
