Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Tuesday September 7th With Sr Anne

You are welcome to join Sr Anne Petit in London for our morning prayer. Sr Anne is a member Congregation of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and their convent is in St John’s Wood, London. During this time of prayer let us remember especially the people fleeing from their countries because of conflict or national disasters.
Before choosing his disciples, Jesus spent the whole night in prayer, alone. In the way that Jesus called the apostles, individually, each by their name. Each could say yes or no, just as we can. Each of us is precious to Jesus just as the apostles were.
“One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.
At daybreak he called together all of his disciples and chose twelve of them to be apostles.” – Luke 6:12-13
