Morning Reflection: Friday 14th March 2025 With Mary Tyrrell

Good morning,
Today we bring you a morning reflection on today’s scripture readings from:
Mary Tyrrell for Friday 14th March 2025, during the 1st week of Lent.
Mary writes for us a small thought on today’s reading from Matthew 5:20-26: she reflects about how we should all examine our behaviour and not get complacent. Mary asks us to reflect especially on this phrase “Anyone who is angry with his brother will answer for it. The message is – it’s best not to be angry with anybody.”

Let us pray:
Bend our wills, Lord, so that by this Lenten observance
we may fit ourselves to celebrate the Easter festival;
and as we have all undertaken to subdue the body,
may we all be renewed in spirit.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
The Lord bless us, and keep us as we start out our day.
Thank you for spending time to reflect with us this morning.
