Morning Reflection: Saturday 15th March 2024 With Mary Tyrrell

Good morning,
Today we bring you a morning reflection on today’s scripture readings from:
Mary Tyrrell for Saturday 15th March 2025, during the 1st week of Lent.
Mary writes for us a small thought on today’s reading from Matthew 5:43-48: she reminds us that even though it can sometimes it can feel hard to forgive, but as followers of Jesus, it is exactly what we are called to do. Mary asks us to reflect especially on this question “Who will you pray for today?”

Let us pray:
Turn our hearts to yourself, eternal Father,
so that, always seeking the one thing necessary
and devoting ourselves to works of charity,
we may worship you in spirit and in truth.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
The Lord bless us, and keep us as we start out our day.
Thank you for spending time to reflect with us this morning.
