Morning Reflection: Thursday 13th March 2025 With Mary Tyrrell

Good morning,
Today we bring you a morning reflection on today’s scripture readings from:
Mary Tyrrell for Thursday 13th March 2025, during the 1st week of Lent.
Mary writes for us a small thought on today’s reading from Matthew 7:7-12: she talks to us about how God always knows what we want before we ask but his timing is not the same as ours. Mary asks us to reflect especially on this question “What disaster has God, through prayer, helped you avoid?“
Let us pray:
Through our annual Lenten observance, Lord,
deepen our understanding of the mystery of Christ
and make it a reality in the conduct of our lives.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
The Lord bless us, and keep us as we start out our day.
Thank you for spending time to reflect with us this morning.
