Morning Reflection: Tuesday 18th March 2025 With Veronica Conlon

Good morning,
Today we bring you a morning reflection on today’s scripture readings from:
Veronica Conlonl for Tuesday, 18th March 2025, during the 2nd Week of Lent.
Veronica writes for us a small thought on today’s reading from Matthew 23: she reminds us that although the Pharisees and Scribes constantly tried to catch Jesus out, they themselves never practised what they preached. Veronica asks us to consider this during Lent so we can turn our promises into actions.
Let us pray:
Turn our hearts to yourself, eternal Father,
so that, always seeking the one thing necessary
and devoting ourselves to works of charity,
we may worship you in spirit and in truth.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
The Lord bless us, and keep us as we start out our day.
Thank you for spending time to reflect with us this morning.
