New Provincial and Provincial Council installed during the 2024 Assembly

The call of Jesus Christ, heard within the Church through people’s need for salvation, draws us together as Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Christ thus invites us to follow him and to share in his mission through word and work. (C1)

During the annual Oblate Assembly 2024, the rite of Installation took place during the celebration of the Mass of Blessed Joseph Cebula and Companions, 12th of June 2024.

Prayers of thanksgiving were offered in thanksgiving for the ministry of Fr Oliver Barry OMI over the last 6 years of his term as Provincial.

Provinical Councillors

On April 24, 2024, the Superior General with the unanimous consent of the Council, appointed the following:

Fr Ray Warren, Fr Irvin Morastil, Fr Martin Moran, Fr Vimal Parunanthu and Fr Eduardo Nuñez Yépez as councillors of the Province of England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Denmark.
