The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 8th June 2024, Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Friends, we join with Sacred Heart Parish in Kilburn for morning prayer again for morning prayer on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary with Fr Tom Devereux OMI, the parish priest of the Oblate Parishes in Kilburn.

Mary stored up all these things in her heart

Fr Tom reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“We celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, traditionally, this follows the feast of the Sacred heart of Jesus that we celebrated yesterday. It’s a feast celebrating her love for God and God’s people. Since the time when Our Lady appeared to the three Shepherd children in Fatima in Portugal in July 1917 it was reported Our lady said that God wishes to establish devotion to her Immaculate Heart.”
