The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Friday 7th June 2024, Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Friends, we join with Sacred Heart Parish in Kilburn for morning prayer once more for our morning prayer on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with Fr Tom Devereux OMI, the parish priest of the Oblate Parishes in Kilburn.

Fr reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“Today is the feast in the Sacred Heart. There is great devotion and attention to the Sacred Heart. This parish is called the Sacred Heart. We have a beautiful stained glass window up behind our main altar here, as you see also this beautiful modern stained glass in reflecting the love of God exploding from his heart, God loving us and wanting us to be people who spread that love, that devotion, the love of God throughout the world, telling people how much God loves us. “
