Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday August 28th

Good morning friends, we invite you to join Fr Irvin for this morning’s prayer on Monday August 28th.

“Jesus said, ‘Alas for you Scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You will shut up the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces.”

Entering the Kingdom of Heaven means responding to the invitation of God who draws us into our relationship with Him. My dear sisters and brothers, in today’s gospel, we too are being invited by Jesus, that as we strive to be truthful and faithful to His teachings, so that we too may become like true Christians, indeed, not imitating the examples of the scribes and the Pharisees being hypocrites.
