Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday December 30th 2023

Good morning dear friends. You are very welcome to this Oblate morning prayer on the 30th of December.

For Christmas week, we join some members the Oblate Parishes of Inchicore/Bluebell for morning prayer. Today, we join Fr Michael Brady OMI for this morning’s prayer.

Today we hear about Anna. We always hear about these two people together, Anna and Simeon. And the lovely thing about them is they’re both elderly people and both of them sort of have been preparing and to understand the nature of the salvation that Christ the Christ brought to his people would bring to us people. And so that’s very important because it helps us to realise the importance of knowing something of the the background of the history of salvation.
