Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday October 15th With Martina Cooley
Good morning friends. We invite you to join Martina Cooley, who works with Kairos Community Trust in London, for our morning prayer.
The gospel today depicts how the servants were sent out to invite everyone after first being shunned away by those of wealth, power and prestige, who declined the invitation – showing us the importance of treating all alike, regardless of what one has or doesn’t have. How power, wealth, prestige, will avail us nothing. Those who have have had nothing can truly appreciate s having just something. The story shows how kindness and goodness overcomes evil and wickedness.
Thanks to Martina for sharing her story and this reflection.
We hope you enjoy this morning’s reflection.
