Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer, which is coming to you from Dublin. We invite you to join Mary O’Brien on this Sunday, October 29th, the 30th Sunday in Ordinary time.

Jesus said, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself. – Matthew 22:34-40

Today’s gospel is one where it hardly seems necessary to say more than these words of Jesus. Our actions, our words, our prayers – I believe this is how we show that we love God. Loving God calls us to action.
