Oblate Lay Associations Congress 2022
May 27 – May 29, 2022
From May 27 thru May 29 this year, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) will hold a second Congress for all those from around the world who identify with, or are associated with, the Oblates. European delegates will gather in Kokotek, Poland.
Get Involved!
In preparation for the Congress, the lay delegates from our Province want to hear the voices of, and take input from, all those throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, the island of Jersey, and all who identify with this Province and who are associated with the Oblates through our very many activities; our parishes, the Friends of St Eugene, our Partners in Mission, and our Lourdes Pilgrimage.
What is the aim of the Congress?
It is to share locally, and regionally, and at the congregational level, the depth and variety of ways of connecting with various groups of laity joined through the charism of St. Eugene de Mazenod. It is to celebrate it, connect with others, and commission us to continue living the Oblate mission in our lives, by taking an active part in that mission where we are.
THIS MEANS YOU!
The Survey
The survey will take about six minutes of your time and what you might tell us in those six minutes will allow the delegates from this Province to authentically reflect what you think and believe.
To participate in the survey, just click where it says, “Please click here to fill out the Survey” below and there is no more to it. There are no right or wrong answers; there are just your answers. This is not about what you consider others to believe or think; this is about what you think, what you want to say. And your voice matters!
At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to include your personal details (e.g., name, address, etc.). However, and this is very important, you DO NOT need to give this information. The survey is 100% anonymous so if you would just prefer to answer the questions and do no more, then we cannot ask any more of you. If you are open to further contact from the Delegate Team, should we wish to get in touch with you, then please tell us who you are. But we repeat, THIS IS NOT REQUIRED and it will remain anonymous.
Thank you.
