Oblate Morning Prayer, Monday January 10th With Sr Anne Petit
Please join with Sr Anne Petit in London one again for our short morning prayer and reflection. Sr Anne is a member Congregation of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and their convent is in St John’s Wood, London
As we begin Ordinary Time of the Church Year, we reflect on the calling of the first apostles by Jesus. Let’s ponder on our own callings and what might be obstacles in our own lives to our daily response to the call to follow Jesus.
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him. Mark 3 21-22
Thanks for joining us today.
