Oblate Morning Prayer, Tuesday January 11th

With Patsy Thomas in Beaumaris

Good morning friends, we join Patsy Thomas in her home in Beaumaris on the Island of Anglesey, Wales for our morning prayer.

As the people were spellbound about Jesus and his new teaching and his special authority we too are invited to give Jesus our full attention each day – how hard that can be! He brought light to the people of darkness and we are given his inspiring example as an ideal to aim for.

The people were so astonished that they started asking each other what it all meant. ‘Here is a teaching that is new’ they said ‘and with authority behind it: he gives orders even to unclean spirits and they obey him.’ Mark 1:21-28
