Good morning, dear friends. Welcome to today’s morning prayer on Thursday, 13th February, during the fifth week in Ordinary Time. Our prayer is brought to us by Christine Hunt from Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. 

Christine reflects:
“Are we spiritually deaf at times? We do hear, but we do not understand. What kind of words do we utter? There is indeed such a thing, a spiritual speech impediment. Are we close to the needs of the world around us? Are we deliberately deaf to the cries of the oppressed? “
