Good morning and welcome to morning prayer. We join the Singles for Christ Community in London,  to pray as a community of faith and hope together and reflect on today’s gospel.

Today, we explore the profound connection between praising God and experiencing joy. Drawing inspiration from the opening line of the Magnificat, the Blessed Mother’s song of praise. The question arises, Did Mary rejoice because she proclaimed God’s greatness? Or did she proclaim because she was filled with joy?
