Good morning, please join with Sr Anne Petit, a member of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart, in the convent oratory in London once again for our time of prayer today on June 27th.

Gospel | Matthew 8:1-4
‘If you want to, you can cure me’

Sr Anne reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“Without any hesitation, Jesus responded to the leper’s request. He reached out his hand and gently touched the man and said, ‘I will do as you ask me. Be made clean.’ When Jesus touches the leper, he’s not only breaking cultural and religious barriers. He also stimulates in this man a sense of being accepted, of being loved. This will enable him to return to his family, his community, and his livelihood.”
