The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Friday 31st May 2024 With Anne Walker
Good morning. We join Anne Walker from the Friends of Saint Eugene group in Crewe for today’s morning prayer on the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Gospel | Luke 1:39-56 © |

The Almighty has done great things for me
Anne reflects on today’s gospel reading:
“I can honestly say how privileged I feel in being able to read today’s gospel and reflect upon it. This gospel holds many important things for me. The Magnificat and the mention, not in full, of John the Baptist. The Magnificat proclaims Our Lady’s trust in God from the beginning. She sees herself as a lowly maiden and recognizes that from that day, all generations will call her blessed.”
Enjoy the reflection this morning and thank you for joining us.
