The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Friday 3rd May 2024
Good morning dear friends.
Good morning. This morning, we once again join Fr Frank Ryan OMI in Rushmere, Rhos on Sea in the Parish of St Joseph’s Colwyn Bay for our Oblate Morning Prayer on Friday May 3rd.
Gospel | John 14:6-14 ©
To have seen me is to have seen the father
Fr Frank reflects: “Our faith is challenged, particularly when we read what Jesus said, “To have seen me is to have seen the Father. I and the father are one.” So Thomas is very confused about this, but we believe at that believes takes us on an extraordinary journey. When we celebrate mass, we celebrate the continuation of Christ’s crucifixion and his redemptive act. There are 350,000 masses said every day…”
Enjoy the reflection this morning and thank you for joining us.
