Gospel | Matthew 9:9-13’It is not the healthy who need the doctor, but the sick’

Frankie reflects on today’s gospel reading: “I suppose it’s relatively easy to listen to the gospels that illustrate the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. We can anticipate how Jesus will rebuke them for the narrow interpretation of the faith’s rules. And it’s easy to see the focus on the ritual, the frills of their faith that’s followed by the Pharisees. It’s not so easy to see ourselves in that role of the Pharisee…”
