Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Mary O’Brien with the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage at the Chapel of Light in Lourdes, France for today’s time of prayer on Friday, February 9th, 2024. Today is the seventh day of the novena in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes. The Novena is from the 2nd to the 11th of February, leading to up to Our Lady’s feast day (11th February). You can join in person & online: Mary Immaculate, Inchicore | Sacred Heart, Kilburn | Daily Morning Prayer online & live Mass from Lourdes on Our Lady’s Feast Day, FEB 11th.

Mary reflects: “A lot of the gospel texts like this one we hear today are about healings. Many of those who came to hear and see Jesus brought with them family members who were sick in the hope that Jesus would cure them and in this place, in Lourdes here, it’s a very special place where people come from far and wide for healing..”
