The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday 15th January 2024

Good morning, dear friends. You are very welcome to our Oblate Family Morning Prayer. We join Pat Hughes in Birkenhead for this morning’s time of prayer.

Today’s Gospel from Mark is in two parts. One is that of the old ways being taught by the Pharisees, and the second part is the new teachings in the form of good news that Jesus brings. 

Mark 2: 18-22  

‘Why is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not?’
