The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday 1st January 2024

Good morning dear friends. You are very welcome to the first Oblate morning prayer of 2024. We wish you all a very Happy New Year.

For the first week in 2024 we join some members the Oblate Parishes of Denmark for morning prayer. Today, we join Joseph Dewhurst for this morning’s prayer.

In today’s scripture, Saint Paul underlines the importance of the woman Mary, the mother of God, as the enabler for all of this to happen through the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This is of particular importance today as we celebrate the solemnity of Mary, the mother of God.
