Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer during this time of Lent. We join Pádraig Corcoran once again, bringing us our morning prayer from Dublin, on 26th of February, Monday of the second week of Lent, 2024.

Gospel Luke 6:36-38
Grant pardon, and you will be pardoned

Pádraig reflects: “Here we are told by Jesus forgive and we will be forgiven. Now we all want to be forgiven. Forgiving – that’s something that’s within our power, but for us to be forgiven?  It’s not within our power. But what is within our power? And Jesus says it’s in our power to forgive. And that’s what we do. We don’t condemn because we don’t want to be condemned ourselves….”
