Is it against the law on the sabbath to save life?

Fr Michael reflects: “When reading, Luke we are conscious of his introduction to his gospel in chapter one – the way he presents it – opens it – as an introduction to a work that talks about the compassion of God made flesh in Jesus Christ. That compassion is the reason for the birth of Jesus, and the compassion is also the reason for his giving his life on the cross.”
