The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 10th August 2024 With Sr Janet Audu DHS
Good morning dear friends. We join Sr Janet Audu from Wistaston Hall in Crewe on Saturday, 10th August 2024, the feast day of Saint Laurence.
Gospel | John 12:24-26 |
---|
If a grain of wheat falls on the ground and dies, it yields a rich harvest
Sr Janet reflects: “In the gospel reading of today, Jesus uses the image of a wheats grain that falls to the ground and dies, and in dying you that rich harvests. This image was firstly an image of Jesus himself. He was the wheat grain who fell to the earth and died, and in dying yielded rich harvests.”
Thank you for joining us this morning.
